Meet The Team

Brett Blackwelder: Office Manager

Brett Blackwelder is a native of Kansas City. He earned an undergraduate degree from Iowa State and a graduate degree in Health Policy and Management Administration from the University of Kansas. After many years of non-profit fundraising he is VERY happy to get back to the world of healthcare.

Brett and his wife, Alisha, have two active sons, Harrison and Henry. They love going to the park and cooking together.

The most exciting thing about joining the Sunny Day team, for Brett, is working with children and the joy of helping Dr. Day provide your children with a comforting and enjoyable “dental home”.
